• Markets: Equity markets were rather bullish before the US election date and eased
afterwards. Overall, the MSCI ACWI index is slightly negative (-0.7%) since the
beginning of the month.
• United States: The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) optimism index
fell to 91.3 in October from 92.1.
• Eurozone: The September seasonally adjusted volume of retail trade increased by 0.4%
in the Eurozone compared with August, which is stable.
