The Week at a Glance

Markets: Equity markets gave up a little more ground this week after -0.5% fall last week with MSCI World AC declining by 0.8%. The sell-off in Treasuries took a pause this week after ending last week above 1.70%.

United States: Durable goods orders suffered a setback in February, falling by 1.1% MoM, with weakness spread across the board except in aircraft orders.

Eurozone: Germany’s Finance Minister Olaf Scholz presented this week a new supplementary budget for 2021 in the amount of 60 billion euros, approved by the Chancellor’s cabinet.
