Biodiversity: Amundi commits with act4nature

The initiative launched on July 10 brings together businesses, NGOs, scientists and public organizations to mobilize economic actors for the preservation of biodiversity.

Scientists, economists and public authorities agree on the urgent need to act for the preservation of biodiversity. On the planet, a species disappears every 20 minutes. It is a major environmental challenge for society, but also for businesses and the sustainability of their business models. In France, the government announced on July 4th a great plan for "mobilization for nature", in an attempt to stop the decline of natural areas and species.

Launched July 10 at the Goodplanet Foundation, act4nature is an initiative created by EpE (Business for the Environment) and many scientific partners, environmental NGOs, business networks and public organizations, with the aim of mobilizing companies to protect, enhance and restore biodiversity.

To date, 65 companies, including Amundi, have committed to launching the initiative. By joining act4nature, companies have made collective and individual engagements to integrate biodiversity concerns into their strategies and to contribute to the goals set by the international biodiversity community.
