Direct Deposit

Direct Deposit is a free service that gives you a faster, easier way to move your money. This option is available for Systematic Withdrawal Plans and telephone redemptions, as well as dividend payments and capital gains payments. Once we receive your instructions, we will send your payments electronically through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) directly to the designated bank account.

Dividend and Capital Gain Distributions

Amundi US offers four options for dividend and capital gain distributions:

  • Reinvest dividend and capital gain distributions
  • Receive cash dividends, reinvest capital gain distributions
  • Receive cash dividend and capital gain distributions
  • Invest dividends into another Amundi US account of the same share class, and/or capital gain distributions

Cash payments will be mailed to the name and address on the account or sent to a bank account via direct deposit.

When selecting your option, you should remember that:

  • If your account does not have a certified tax identification number, Backup Withholding may be withheld from the distributions
  • Dividend and capital gain distributions for all retirement accounts must be reinvested
  • Dividend and capital gain distributions for accounts with a net asset value under $500 must be reinvested
  • Retirement accounts may not receive dividends from another account

Directed Dividends

You can have your dividend distributions automatically reinvested into other Amundi US accounts at Net Asset Value, without a sales charge.

When requesting Directed Dividends, you should remember that:

  • Capital gain distributions will be reinvested in the originating account
  • The receiving account must have a value at least $1,000
  • The share class of both the originating and receiving accounts must be the same
  • Retirement accounts may direct/receive dividends only from another account of the same type

Net Asset Value (NAV) Purchases

90 Day Reinvestment Privilege (for Class A Shares)

Amundi US offers you the opportunity to reinvest all or a portion of the money you redeem from your Amundi US account — without paying a sales charge — within 90 days of your redemption. If you sold shares from a retirement account, you have 60 days to reinvest or roll over the proceeds without being subject to taxes and penalties. You have the choice of investing in any Amundi US fund, as long as you meet its minimum investment requirement. To exercise this option, mail your check to us along with instructions stating 'Reinvestment Privilege.'

Reduced Sales Charges

These programs offer a way for you to lower your sales charges on the purchase of Class A Shares. For more information about reduced sales charges, contact your investment professional, or call us.

Rights of Accumulation (ROA)

The current value of shares in your existing Amundi US accounts may qualify you for a reduced sales charge on new investments. For example, assume you originally invested $20,000 in an Amundi US fund and, over the years, your account has grown in value to $34,000. If you invested another $20,000, you would be eligible for a reduced sales charge on your purchase because of the sales charge reduction offered on purchases of $50,000 or more.

If you have more than one Amundi US account, be sure to tell your investment professional so we can link them together for ROA purposes.

Letter of Intent (LOI)

A letter of intent tells us that you plan to invest a set amount of money at Amundi US during a specified 13-month period. Signing an LOI allows you to immediately begin purchasing shares at the reduced sales charge appropriate for the specified LOI amount. The LOI does not obligate you to purchase additional shares. If you do not meet your intended investment amount within the 13-month period, the regular sales charge will be applied to all purchases made under the letter.

Telephone Transactions – Purchase, Exchange, and Sell Shares

Your Amundi US account is automatically authorized to allow telephone transactions unless you indicate otherwise on the Account Application or by writing to Amundi US. The option to purchase shares will require prior authorization for electronic transfers from your bank account. Please view the fund’s prospectus for transaction maximums and requirements.

Online Transactions – Purchase, Exchange, and Sell Shares

If your account is registered in your name, you may be able to purchase, exchange, and sell fund shares online. Your account is automatically authorized to allow online transactions unless you indicate otherwise on the Account Application or by writing to Amundi US.

After registering for online account access and accepting the terms of the online transaction agreement, you may be able to:

  • Exchange into an existing account or establish a new account, provided the new account has a registration identical to the original account
  • Purchase additional shares, provided you have established a bank account with Amundi US
  • Sell your shares, receiving the proceeds by check or to your bank account.
  • Change the address of record on your accounts

Some accounts do not allow online access, and further restrictions may be implemented from time to time. For more information about online transactions, transaction maximums and requirements, please view the fund’s prospectus.

Automatic Investment Plan (AIP)

An Automatic Investment Plan is an easy and convenient way to invest on a regular basis. By putting aside affordable amounts of money regularly, you can build a long-term investment without sacrificing your current standard of living.

With an AIP, you can invest:

  • Monthly, quarterly or in any other combination of months
  • On any date of the month, up to four times each month. As little as $50 each payment ($100 for Pioneer U.S. Government Money Market Fund)

If you are considering an AIP, you should be aware that:

  • Certain funds and account types may be restricted from participating
  • AIPs may be canceled by Amundi US without prior notice if any check or purchase debit is not honored for payment
  • AIPs may be canceled if the Amundi US account reaches a share balance of zero

Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP)

A Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP) allows you to make automatic withdrawals from your account. Shares are sold, at net asset value, less any contingent deferred sales charge (CDSC), from your Amundi US account on a regular basis until you choose to change or cancel your SWP.

Withdrawals may be made:

  • Monthly, quarterly or in any other combination of months
  • On any date of the month you select
  • For as little as $50 each payment
  • By check, to a third party or using direct deposit to your bank account

Before establishing a SWP you should be aware that:

  • Special conditions may apply for SWPs for retirement accounts. Contact your investment professional, or our Retirement Plans Specialists at 1-800-622-0176, for more information.
  • Class C accounts are limited to 10% of the account value at the time the account was established; otherwise, there is no maximum payment amount.
  • Your account must have a value of at least $10,000 to start a SWP
  • Dividends and capital gains distributions must be reinvested
  • A stamp validating your signature may be required if SWP withdrawals total more than $100,000 a year
