Our commitment is to support issuers to adopt better practices

Reflecting our proactive interactions with companies, our engagement for influence aims to support companies in taking into account environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues on specific themes.

 

We aim to ensure that the quality of our interactions and constructive dialogue with companies will help them to engage a positive dynamic and be a source of progress towards a stronger and more resilient business model.

  • Our stewardship activities are carried out by a dedicated team of over 40 ESG and corporate governance analysts1.
  • Our analysts are specialized by sector and thematic and are based in 5 different locations across the world1.
  • We engage at issuer level, including those involved in passively managed funds.
     

  • Our stewardship activities are performed in all regions of the world and address a large range of sustainability factors.
  • In 2024, we engaged with 2,883 unique issuers, evenly spread across Europe, Asia, and America, with over 50% of the engagements addressing climate issues1.
  • Our influence extends to 90% of MSCI World equities and covers substantial portions of corporate debt1. 
     

  • Our stewardship approach is based on transparent voting and engagement policies.
  • We engage with issuers over the years to address sustainability factors as soon as they are identified as risks to their strategies.
