Sub-advisory mandates are managed by third-party investment firms hand-picked by our fund selection team and/or selected jointly with our clients.

The underlying asset portfolios benefit from ongoing management oversight provided by Amundi group-wide investment experts and technology.

Sub-advisory mandates are wrapped into single-manager/strategy or multi-manager funds than can be tailored to client specifications.

Sub-advisory addresses portfolio challenges and constraints through operational alpha - Gain greater portfolio control and reduce risk through data-informed insights.

 

 

Sub-advisory mandates also enhance returns through cost optimization by limiting investment management fees and other ongoing charges. Amundi offers scale and leverages on in-house fund structuring capabilities, providing end-to-end fund services at competitive sub-manager rates and low administrative fees.

 

Our role

  • Outsourcing the construction of your platform of mandates to a dedicated specialist like Amundi will give you access to more resources and expertise, allowing you to focus on the activities most important to your organization.
  • We can deliver and operate dedicated sub-advisory platforms across a diverse set of channels. Platform sponsors may include banks, pension managers, insurance companies, wealth managers and other asset management firms.
  • We implement your sub-advisory project from beginning to end: manager research, tender management, mandate onboarding, fund launch and maintenance and bespoke investor reporting.

ESG GUIDELINES

They are defined by the client, according to its objectives. If the client does not have proprietary ESG guidelines Amundi can propose a standard ESG framework.

Fund Channel Investment Partners ("FCIP")

For clients not interested in building their own bespoke sub-advisory platform, we also offer Fund Channel Investment Partners (“FCIP”), a Luxembourg-domiciled SICAV.

  • FCIP is a collective investment scheme structured as a cross-border UCITS umbrella fund consisting of a series of single-manager sub-advised funds.
  • It has been designed as a multi-purpose, multi-client fund vehicle addressing the open architecture needs and challenges of various stakeholders, among which investors in our multi-management/OCIO solutions, Credit Agricole group affiliates and other 3rd party investors and distributors.
