Regulated Investment Companies (mutual funds) are required to report on Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Form 8937 organizational actions that affect the basis of the securities involved in an organizational action. Two common types of organizational actions for a mutual fund include tax-free reorganizations and nontaxable distributions.
1099-DIV forms are not issued for accounts which have received less than $10 in total distributions (dividends and capital gain distributions) either in cash or reinvested in the account. However, if federal income tax is withheld from distributions on the account, a 1099-DIV is issued regardless of the total distribution amount.
If you do not receive a 1099-DIV form showing the total distributions (dividends and/or capital gains) for your account, you can utilize the information on your year-end statement when completing your tax return.
The 1099 tax information is based on the most current tax data available and could change due to tax amendments or transaction revisions. If you have specific questions regarding the preparation of your tax return, contact your tax advisor or the IRS.

Amundi US will be mailing the following tax information to shareowners over the next few months. Please be sure to keep all of the tax forms that you receive from us, since we will be reporting the same information to the Internal Revenue Service.
